Barrett-Simpson, Inc. is a privately owned, full service Professional Engineering (Civil and Structural) and Land Surveying firm serving a broad spectrum of clients in East Alabama and West Georgia. The firm’s clientele typically consist of development professionals (residential and commercial), industries, government entities, and individuals. Our offices are located in Phenix City, Eufaula and Opelika, Alabama.

The firm was founded in 1994 as Allen-Simpson, Inc. as a partnership of F. Wayne Allen, P.L.S. and Timothy W. Simpson, P.E. & P.L.S. Upon retirement of Mr. Allen in 2003, George W. Barrett, P.L.S. acquired 50% ownership in the firm and the corporate name was changed to Barrett-Simpson, Inc. Mr. Simpson, with over 25 years of diversified experience, serves as President of the firm, and Mr. Barrett, with over 40 years experience, serves as Vice President.

Barrett-Simpson, Inc. employs over thirty uniquely qualified individuals. The Professional staff currently consists of three Professional Engineers, one Engineer Intern, and five Registered Professional Land Surveyors with a combined experience of more than 125 years.
